Ca 1975 Alvarez-Yairi DY-74 acoustic guitar = this is one of the early ones with martin-style headstock, and dot inlays - of course this was designed on D-28 lines !! This one is less expensive because a previous owner (vandal !!) sanded the headstock overlay down to remove the A-Y logo and removed the interior label - it sounds good enough I guess he was telling everyone it was a D-28 !! 'Yairi DY-74' stamped on neck block as shown = Very good player, action 1/8' low E at 12th fret, 3/32' high E at 12th fret = No breaks, cracks, or repairs - a few small dings and some finish cracks at edge of top lower treble bout = this has been my personal acoustic and it sounds great = includes chipboard case = NOTE - I believe this is a late 1974 transition guitar, just as model was being changed from Model 5065 to DY-74 - back and sides appear to be Jacaranda (pretty flamey) = Payment within 3 days please = I pack extremely well and ship quickly.
